In the lush, vibrant landscapes of the 1960's Malaya and Singapore, our uncle traversed the winding roads of kampongs and rubber estates in his trusty, weathered VW van. Laden with bottles of medicated oils, his van was more than just a vehicle it was a mobile pharmacy, a beacon of hope.
For our uncle, commerce was never about transactions. He had a gift for making every encounter feel personal and warm. He was a storyteller, healer and an entertainer, weaving himself into the very fabric of communities' daily lives.
Decades later, during Covid 19 pandemic, we - the third generation - found ourselves rediscovering our roots. Today we bring new life to our family legacy, blending tradition with the needs of a modern generation.
